Governor's Mansion

Welcome to Kentucky's Governor's Mansion, the official residence of

the people of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. It is a proud symbol of
Kentucky's history and has served as home to the state's governors since
1914.

The Governor's Mansion is both a private home and a public building.
It serves as the center of the first family's ceremonial, social and
political activities. As each governor moves in, it takes only a few
moments to realize that he or she too has become a part of history
simply because they live in this place.
